The Gem Collector's Cairn Ring features a stunning two-carat Ethiopian Opal, a small Rainbow Moonstone, and a small Turquoise stone from the Kingman Mine. If you're not familiar with what a cairn is, they are little man-made towers of rough stones and pebbles that you see in creeks, hilltops, hiking trails & more. This ring was inspired by the last couple hikes I went on, in which I encountered many a cairn! It's so amazing to see these little creations along the path when exploring nature - And to know that a fellow human who walked those same steps sometime before you made these little totems... it's just such an inspiring and humbling feeling.

Will fit Sizes 8-8.5

Designed like a stacking ring with the stones atop an whole ring band, so this ring can be worn alone as a statement piece, or in combination with other sterling silver stackers for a flawless stack. Stackers are available for $15-$30 each.

From relatively new sources in Ethiopia, this hydrophane stone features the signature vivid translucence and play of color typical of high-quality white opal. While the more common Australian opal comes from sedimentary deposits, this opal (like that of Brazil or Mexico) comes from volcanic deposits.
